The exquisite trio of nine-hole tracts-Rockies, Crocodiles (with live crocodiles!) & Palms were crafted with great skill and vision by Australian golf architect, Ross C. Watson. The course flows with the undulating terrain, past mature trees and spectacular boulders and pristine waterways, an ensemble to provide the best of a natural setting for a nice round of golf.
The 27-hole A’ Famosa Golf Course is rated one of the top 10 golf courses in the country. Split into 3 nine-hole tracts, the course flows with the hilly terrain to incorporate some spectacular elevation changes into play. Exquisitely sculptured fairways meander past tall palm trees, huge boulders, scenic lakes and pretty green-site to make it a picture perfect but challenging course.
Some of its trickier features are found on the 3,183-metre Rocky Nine, a collection of holes with a roller-coaster effect; the 3,215-metre Palm Nine that presents golfers two routes via a double-tiered fairway before a nerve-wreaking approach over water to a diagonally-angled green and the spectacular 3,154-metre Crocodile Nine where the approach is played over a narrow strait to a peninsular green-site built next to crocodile pit!
